Glitter & Rocks
In 2009 I created Glitter & Rocks, a company dedicated to making genuine, affordable fashion jewelry available to women. I now have the opportunity to put together my own collection of beautiful, fun, classy fashion jewelry that is affordable but more importantly features real gemstones. 
When I look at what “fun” fashion jewelry is available in the market I am consistently appalled at the price of these pieces- there is no enduring value in base metal and paste. Good quality fashion jewelry should not be merely a season’s disposable trend; it should help define a woman’s signature style. Trendy and timeless can co-exist within your wardrobe through the adaptation of genuine accessories!

Experience
I love jewelry- it has been my passion since I was a little girl. I grew up familiar with gemstones and custom jewelry thanks to my parent’s love of jewelry design. I earned my four year degree from UW Stout in Retail Buying and Management. I earned my Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA in 2005 and within the industry the extensive training associated with becoming a Graduate Gemologist made me an authority on diamonds, colored gemstones, and pearls.
I worked for eleven years in the jewelry industry for three of the finest independent retail stores in the country. Seven of those years I was a buyer, working direct with manufacturers and dealers from all over the world to find the best diamonds, colored stones, bridal, and fashion jewelry. Now I have the opportunity to pursue something I had always dreamed of doing.
